How to activate augment in fortnite - One of the game-changing features of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is Reality Augments. The new feature allows users to acquire a random passive ability during the match.

 
These benefits range from a faster recharge time to getting your vehicle moving without using fuel. To get the Reality Augments passive ability, you need to stay alive in the match until the game gives you the perks. The time to get the first buff is usually 2-3 minutes after the start of a round. 

Once the invisible internal timer ends, the game will offer you two random abilities. You can activate any passive or reroll for another set entirely. Press LMB or RT to select and activate any given augment.

After acquiring/activating any buffs, the buffs will stay with you until the end of the game or until other players kill you. As of now, there are 22 different skills in the game and you can stack up to 4 perks in a single game.

How to re-roll for your Reality Augments in Fortnite

Sometimes you may not want the passive ability to be available to you as they are random and may not suit your playstyle. In such cases, you can reroll for Reality Augments. The first roll will be free for everyone, and subsequent rolls will cost 100 gold bars. You can hold E on the keyboard or X on a Gamepad to roll back in front of the Reality Augments menu screen.
