Sensor backpack fortnite, Where can Sensor backpack be used to scan energy volatility in Fortnite

Use the sensor backpack to find an energy fluctuation - The latest Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 update introduced Resistance Week 8 Missions, and players will need to complete all stages of these challenges to earn XP. One of the quests requires players to collect a Sensor backpack and scan the power sources found near Loot Lake. Completing all stages of this Quiz will reward players with 23,000 XP.

Where can I set up a device uplink near Seven Outpost I or Synapse Station?

 
To begin this quiz, players will first need to set up an uplink from the device Seven Top Posts, or Synapse Station. Please refer to the map reference above for the exact locations where you will find a link to the device. Simply walk towards the hologram projector to start the first Quest stage.

Where can you find a Sensor backpack in Fortnite?

For the second stage, backpacking players will need to find a sensor to scan the volatility of energy around Loot Lake. There are two places where players can get the Sensor backpack, and they are marked in the image above. One of them is located south of Tilted Towers while the other is located east of Camp Cuddle. We recommend players land at the location south of Tilted Towers to pick up the Sensor backpack and then move to the Siege Cannon north of this area to quickly fly to Loot Lake.

Where can you find energy volatility in Fortnite?

The energy volatility is not located directly at the Loot Lake Island waypoint, as shown on the Endurance Week 8 Missions map. Instead, players get the bright orange flares from the volatility of energy around the areas beyond the lake. We've found two different locations for the energy volatility points so far, one south of the POI fortress, and the other near the waypoint Dispatch Depot.

Follow the map references above to find one of the energy volatility points and scan it with the Sensor backpack. Players will also notice that the signal from the Sensor Backpack increases as they approach points of energy volatility.
