How to knock down timber pines in fortnite - In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, we receive missions every week that we can complete for the rest of the season. One mission for Week 5 is to take down Timber Pines in Fortnite. However, many of us have never heard of the term before, which makes taking them down quite a challenge.

The positive side of this quest is that it is very easy to complete once you know what a Timber Pine is. In fact, you've likely already downed one of them.

Timber Pines are extremely tall trees that have a large lower section with no branches or pine trees. You can see an example of how they look in the image below.

To fell a wooden pine, you simply have to reach out and cut it down with your harvesting tool, just like you would any tree. When you hit it enough times to completely deplete its "health", the Timber Pine will fall off. You will be left with a giant log that rolls down the hill and can destroy structures and injure players if it hits them.

The best place to look for Timber Pines is in the northeast section of the map between the mountains. You can usually find all five in a single match if you try, making this one of the easiest missions yet. Fortunately, though, you don't have to take them all down in a single match, as your running total carries over.
